3 Contoh Procedure Text |Procedure text adalah sebuah jenis teks yang mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah melakukan sesuatu. Teks jenis selalu menjabarkan secara kronologis rangkaian tindakan yang harus dijalankan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang diinginkan. Procedure text dapat ditemukan dengan mudah di buku petunjuk dan buku resep masakan.

Struktur umum dari procedure text terdiri dari tiga bagian yaitu goal/aim, materials, dan steps. Goal atau aim memberikan latar belakang maksud dan tujuan teks tersebut. Misalnya, teks tersebut akan membahas tentang cara mengoperasikan kipas angin.

Kemudian, bagian kedua dari procedure text akan membahas tentang apa saja yang dibutuhkan untuk dapat mencapai tujuan dari teks tersebut. Dalam resep masakan, misalnya, bagian ini akan menjabarkan alat-alat dan bahan-bahan yang akan digunakan untuk membuat masakan tertentu. Alat adalah benda untuk membuat sesuatu sedangkan bahan adalah sesuatu yang diperlukan dan merupakan bagian dari sesuatu yang akan dibuat.

Bagian terakhir dari procedure text adaah steps (langkah-langkah). Bagian ini biasanya merupakan bagian terpenting dari teks tersebut. Isinya adalah urutan aksi-aksi/instruksi yang harus dilakukan untuk mencapai goal.

Biasanya, procedure text menggunakan simple present tense, action verbs, imperatives, connectives, dan adverb. Tujuan teks ini adalah untuk mencapai hasil yang diinginkan atau memandu tindakan pembaca untuk mencapai hal yang diinginkan.

Salah satu bentuk dari procedure text adalah how-to. How-to dalam bentuk tertulis adalah deskripsi informal, seringkali pendek, tentang cara menyelesaikan tugas tertentu. Teks semacam ini biasanya dimaksudkan untuk membantu orang yang bukan ahli sehingga sedikit atau sama sekali tidak menggunakan istilah-istilah teknis.

How to Print Screen

1. Find the Print Screen key on your keyboard.
2. Press PrtScr to take a screenshot of your monitor, or press Alt+ PrtScr to take a screenshot of your active window.
3. Paste your screenshot into a program. To do this, open a graphic applications, for example, Paint, and press Ctrl+V. You can edit the screenshot as you see fit. You can also paste the image into other programs, such as Word or an email.
4. Save the screenshot by pressing Ctrl+S or choosing the option to Save File on toolbar.
5. Save your screenshot as PNG to retain most of the original quality or as JPG if you prefer smaller file size (JPG images will lose some quality when they are saved).

How to Operate An Electric Fan

1. Plug the power cord into a wall outlet. Check that the outlet has the same voltage as the voltage required by the electric fan to work.
2. Push the pin on top of the motor to make the electric fan move sideways.
3. Pull up the oscillia pin and tilt adjustment knob to move the electric fan up or down.
4. Press one of the switches located at the bottom of the electric fan to change its speed.

How to Record Audio Using Vocaroo

Vocaroo is a free online program that records speech into a web link, MP3, OGG, FLAC or WAV file.  Files saved as web-links expire.  It is recommended that you store your recording as an audio file.

Note: Sound quality depends on your microphone and the amount of background noise in the recording room.

1. Go to vocaroo.com
2. CLICK on “Click to Record”
3. CLICK on “Allow”
4. SPEAK into the microphone to record
5. CLICK “Click to Stop” when finished

To re-record CLICK “Retry” and follow steps 2-5 again.

To play-back recording, CLICK “Listen”
