The ticket vendor looks at him an feeling bad. He wants to help Jose. There are some places in the stadium that people not like to sit at. So, the friendly ticket salesman gives the seat to Jose. It is near the American flag.
Later. Jose wrote back to his parents about his experience in The United States. He really likes it in America and thinks that the Americans are friendly. One moment that stuck in his mind is that time in the Stadium.
Before the game in the Stadium started, the American stood up and looked at me. They put their hand in their chest and began to speak to me at the same time. They say, “Jose, can you see?”
